During March's monthly meeting, Col. Lewis L. Millet, American Legion Post 38, South Korea celebrated the 105th birthday of The American Legion with birthday cakes. During the celebration, Post 38 Commander William Scafe presented certificates to members of the Korean Veterans Association. Commander Scafe presented a certificate to retired Brig. Gen. Kim, Hyoung Soo, Director General of the KVA’s International Affairs Division from 2017 to 2022. Commander Scafe presented another certificate to Kim, Young Woon, Director of KVA’s International Affairs Department from 2006 until 2024 (retiring this month). The certificates thanked them for their service to Post 38 and The American Legion during their tenures in office.
