At our American Legion Post 49 in Dallas Center, IA, at our March monthly meeting, we honored veteran Kenny Keltner. Keltner received a certificate of "Continuous Membership of 50 Years in The American Legion." On hand to present this certificate was our 6th District of Iowa Commander Don De Kock. Keltner and his wife, Marilyn, are lifelong Dallas Center residents. Keltner served in the Navy onboard The Submarine Tender, USS Canopus AS 34 in the mid to late 1960s. Congratulations Kenny!
